Our Guatemala Huehuetenango (pronounced WAY-way-ta-naango) Strictly Hard Bean European Preparation is a fantastic and balanced cup of coffee at every roast level.  Guatemala is a wonderful country for coffee growing, producing unique complexities from each region.  Huehuetenango beans have always been some of our favorites and now we get to share them with you.

Strictly Hard Bean classification is specific to those coffees grown above 1350 meters, usually resulting in a more dense and complex flavor profile.

European Preparation states that the raw beans are sorted by hand to remove defects and any foreign materials.

  • Balanced and complex solid body
  • Sweet Acidity
  • Strawberry & plum fruitiness
  • Hints of citrus
  • Chocolate
  • Clean and nice aftertaste

Light roast:  Light roast of the Huehuetenango is light and refreshing, highlighting the sweet acids and fruit notes.

Medium Roast:  At medium roast, Huehuetenango is a fine 'even keeled' cup of coffee, when the deeper chocolate notes meet with the fruity acid flavors.

Dark Roast:   Deep chocolate strawberry notes with a fine light aftertaste.
